An Important Show Update

The past couple of episodes the fellas have mentioned that they were going to roll in a few minor changes to the show with the start of year two and today marks the first of those changes. Gone are all topics involving or related to the 1970s and 1980s. Instead, all subject matter will be pulled from the 1990s.
"[The 90s are] still last century, so it's retro," said Mike. "let's face it - the 70s and 80s weren't really as cool as we make them out to be. By going to the 90s Joe and I can talk cell phones, the early days of the Internet and cartoons like Angry Beavers and CatDog."
"Honestly, the 90s wasn't our first choice," added Joseph. "I wanted to do the 50s, but Mike pointed out that we weren't even alive yet so we wouldn't have any memories to talk about."

On the current episode of Uphill Both Ways, Joseph gives his highest recommendations to the Portland, Oregon band Daydream Machine. Here's the title track to the band's second album, "The Show Must Not Go On."

"Welcome Back"

The fellas slow things down a little in this "transition" episode between the end of year one and the start of year two. While there is some retro pop-culture ramblings, the bulk of the show is dedicated to the return of "Joltin'" Joseph Perry to the United States after a decade living abroad in South Korea.
